I hand coded the entire site in HTML and custom wrote the CSS. Used some light Javascript on the header menu and lots of PHP throughout for database interactions.
The site is hosted on a VPS (virtual private server) running Linux Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, Apache web server, MySql database for user info and voting, and custom PHP coding throughout.
Designed all the logo's and images with Photoshop.
